Totally not that kind of gal.
Sarah’s face in the last panel says it all.
She’s a wonderfully expressive person… with her face. Not so much with her words.
Sarah is gonna KILL her. Multiple times.
She might want to shake her a bit, but Sarah’s not quite that violent… yet.
Oh, dear. Ash didn’t quite grasp the point of her mother’s sage advice on the importance of communication in a relationship. Especially in high school, and most especially when volunteering your unsuspecting significant other for a poly-amorous relationship.
…ah, the obliviousness of youth, and the dangers of taking your partner for granted.
Yeah, these girls go through a good bit before really solidifying their relationship into something that’s emotionally steady and secure.
Kids.
To be fair, it’s also kinda poor impulse control on Ash’s part. Ready. Fire. Aim. That kinda thing. You either grow out of it or get diagnosed ADHD.
I am *lovin* Ash’s body language and facial expression in the fifth panel.
She’s *blissfully oblivious* to the fact that the hammer is about to come down…
Ash at this point is sort of low-key Saperstein if you’re familiar with Parks and Rec. Not much time spent on reflection, too busy doing the thing.
