Can’t Get Much More Pointed Than That

Coming up on December, which we've customarily gone on hiatus for.
I'm a lot less keen on doing so given how many weeks were missed this year, but much of it would be spent preparing so there'd be less missed time NEXT year.

So, Ari and I were talking, and how would you all feel about less art and more story for December? Like, written pages with a sketch illustration or two?

Let us know down in the comments, and as always, thanks for reading <3

  1. Owtch. Poor Kenji. Are Mark and Johnson doing some work at the school? Given it’s summer that would be a possibility…

I’ll take whatever you have time to give us.

  3. I’m down for that. I’ve gotten pieces from you that satisfied my interests, so I know everything is in good hands even if the medium changes. Get whatever rest you two can in between things. I love seeing this comic update and I love your works when I come to the Manifested Dreams booth every convention I can get to. Please take care of yourselves. You and Ari.

And thank you for my favorite webcomic.

  4. This is actually a BIG DEAL given that this is probably the first time Sare and Ash are gonna be away from their parents. Think “going away to college” with no friends around and no social life. I get the impression that Sare is cognizant of this and is behaving very maturely.

She may have godlike powers, but as we’ve seen, she doesn’t have a handle on them nor does she even understand what is going on. For her to be away from her family is gonna be rough on her. Ash is a little more independent/self sufficient, but will probably still have issues as well.

Testament to Mags getting this level of trust from the families, too.

One of the toughest parts about this whole “one page a week” thing is having so little space to convey stuff like this.
It feels good to know its coming across.

  5. FWIW, I’ve generally found that sudden text dumps tend to take me right out of a comic story, even when they are by my favorite writers.

Other peoples’ mileage may vary, of course.
