Oh, I finally get it. The Purple Party Pooper is trying to piss off Xiu Mei so she’ll trigger her new powers. We saw this with pretty much everyone except Ashley. Ash is so excessively chill it just hasn’t happened with her yet.
These two families fit together very well, as a good parallel to the Sims/Gains family.
I love how Cheng and Kenji interact.
