A Fresh Start

So. Much. Damage control.

  1. I love how these two families share all aspects of child rearing– to the point that one parent will be talking to the other kid about the life-changing issue, and it’s perfectly cool– Ash wanted to talk to Sarah’s mom, so she did, and vice versa. I see NO disadvantages to this arrangement.

They’ve got one of the coolest cohesive family units I’ve seen. I actually have a couple pages already prepared of before Sarah and Ash came around, just showing these four doing their thing. Their story alone would be a fun tale to whip up. Time is the enemy as always xD

      1. I love that it’s there, anyway! Don’t stress about it.

  2. Your push-up splash panel is very confusing. It’s a fusion of two panels, yes? One where she comes down the stairs and sees them doing push-up, then then a second panel on the right where she flops down on top of the, and ruins blondie’s day? Yes?

Yup. I was hoping that the left-to-right reading convention would have helped with the awkward art placement, but to accommodate that better I should have raised their responses higher to also intercept the top-to-bottom reading angle. I’d also considered an extra thick outlining of the three to help set them apart, but it had already gotten past my deadling when I got this far.

      1. It took me a couple days to process.
