Heathens! Headscritches are lovely & all, but they cannot compare to the glory of being given an all-over back scratch, in particular in that one itchy spot between your shoulder blades that you can never quite reach.
Hey! You might remember me as the guy fro, last comic that wanted to know about min and rei coming back, just another question, will we see them at their 21 age? Or a diffrent age?
The close-up view had a couple of purposes on this page. The focus was to remain on the two and their interactions solely, with minimal attention to background distractions. There’s also the intent of “incidental censorship.” I’m trying to keep this comic PG-13 and Ash makes that difficult at times.
Looking at these pages does raise a fidelity issue for me though. My lineart in the main files are pretty crisp. The way I’ve been saving pages for upload seems to leave things kinda fuzzy. That’s no good. Gonna have to figure that out.
That said, it IS a lot of close-ups without any establishment or mid-range shots to break it up. Just close ups and super close ups xD
I’ll keep that in mind moving forward.
I look at this like a close-in shot with relatively intense dialog in a movie. To keep up the intensity, the director keeps the shot in close. I think you do this very well here.
To an 18 year old, deciding whether or not to ditch school is a *very* intense subject.

They’ll be 21. Intermission II actually picks up on the same day of the last page of the prequel.
