Getting Cuddly

Poor Andrew. Who knows what Ash has been telling him up to this point... This one'll get a lot of touching up tomorrow. There's like... a dozen things I'm not thrilled with about this one, lack-of-completion aside. At this rate, I might need to quit taking home commission work from conventions. It's seriously killing productivity.

  1. I have a feeling being in close intimate contact with Ashley is gonna make Andrew blush *permanently*.

I have a feeling that Ash is one hell of a fun date.

  2. Hey, Ryan, do you scan your commissions before you ship ’em? Are they up on deviant?

sorry, haven’t had a chance to look, taxes are kicking my tuckus this month.

I try to get decent scans, but it’s not always possible and Copic makers scan terribly. Most of the ones I do are done during conventions, which means I’ll get a quarter decent shot with my phone in before handing them over.

Ideally I’ll be posting them up there, but that’ll be after I get caught up. We just got some news today that’ll kind of be the end of me taking commissions for a bit. It’s good news, but also a ‘you just got even busier’ kinda thing.

  3. Ooh, sounds just a little bit ominous. No worries, I jiust didn’t know if I’d missed ’em or not. I use an app called “Turboscan” to do scanning with a cellphone, I don’t know how it would work with your artwork, but I’ve used it to capture fragile family photos, including one I had *no* right to expect would come out. I dunno if you’re an iPerson or a gPerson, but I think it’s available on both. It not only can capture in a variety of ways, it can do a 3-shot merge to raise the resolution of the photo, and it will straighten corners and correct perspective as well.

Oh, when they go up, I’ll let you know. I’d be doing so with you in mind!
It’s good news that we’re trying to figure out what to do with, particularly for the comic.
