A Long Overdue Conversation

New glasses. The world... so fishbowl...  This is gonna look so good when it's done, but I didn't want to make you all wait any longer for the talk that's been needing to happen.

  1. Well, shit.

Like the girls, I did NOT consider Jane’s angle here. (My father ran the Juvenile Hall in our county, I shoulda thought of it.)

REALLY looking forward to how this is gonna play out.

    1. Upon review, I think I didn’t consider this reaction because I was remembering Jane’s milquetoast reaction in Act 1: Ignition, page 54.

I’m assuming that Jane went from “The Guys are gonna be stoked” to “oh fuck” off-page and she’s not particularly mad about anything but the fact that the girls obviously didn’t think the ramifications through.

        You’ve nailed it here.
She really didn’t want them to walk away from this without realizing just how dangerous a line they were walking.
I’m bugged that it took me so long to get this page wrapped up, but I’m glad to have things moving again in general.

Real talk? That last panel works great like it is.

I like the shock of white effect, but it was more I wasn’t digging the straight-forward shot.
Unrelated, holy crap am I happy to see you on here.

  3. Guru said everything that I was thinking, barring the obvious having a relative working for juvie but…

We not gon’ talk about that crystal ball floomity-floom?

Imma start using that I think. It’s silly. Floomity-floom.

That’s just a lamp. Jane’s a nerd and wanted ambiance. xD

    2. I’m proud of what my dad did, but his job did have a negative effect on my personality.

    Happy to be here.
