Getting right to it then…
So, not-quite spoiler here, but this flashback arc is almost wrapped up. Since we managed to snag a table for SPX, the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD that goes down in September, we’re going to try and have the beginning of Act 1 and Conflict of Interests printed in a single book to accompany the Min Hua prequel book (Which will also require a reprint. Our funds weep endlessly). This will likely mean another brief hiatus as I roll through the 120+ pages for the new book to touch things up as well as lay it out/provide commentary/etc.
That aside, like, is there any kind of merch you guys would think is cool? I know we’re going to try and have some simple prints. Just not sure what to put on ’em yet.
I really like the the print of the girls with their heads together, the one you use for your avatar. I’ve seen a larger version on another Web site, maybe Wapsi Square? Anyway, it’s a fabulous picture and I’d love to see it as a print or a T-shirt or even a cellphone case…
Forgot to mention that it would look good on a mug as well. It’s a wonderful picture, sort of innocent and knowing at the same time. I think it encapsulates their relationship perfectly.
I like the idea a lot.
It’ll definitely be one of the things that gets put to use!
